History

The club was founded in 1895 as Thames Ironworks F.C., with its first players working at the Thames Ironworks & Shipbuilding Company. In 1900, Arnold Hills, the owner of Thames Ironworks, reformed the club as West Ham United
West Ham played at the Boleyn Ground in Upton Park for over a century before moving to London Stadium in Stratford in 2016 which is in East London.

Achievements

West Ham have won the FA Cup three times, in 1964, 1975 and 1980 and have been runners up twice. The club have reached two major European finals, winning the European Cup Winners Cup in 1965 and runners up in 1976. More recently they won the UEFA Conference League in 2023.
