Manchester City
History
Manchester City Football Club are based in Manchester North West England. Founded in 1880 as St. Mark’s (West Gorton), it became Ardwick Association Football Club in 1887 and Manchester City in 1894. The club’s home ground is the City of Manchester Stadium in east Manchester, to which it moved in 2003, having played at Maine Road since 1923.
Achievements
Manchester City have won the English top division 10 times, the FA Cup 7 times, the League Cup 8 times the European cup winners cup once in 1970,the European Champions League in 2023, the European Super Cup in 2023 and the FIFA World Club Cup in 2023.
